The climb is rated B/C and is a serious alpine endeavour that requires absolute surefootedness, a head for heights and mountain experience. The route follows the impressive, exposed ridge for several kilometres and offers breathtaking views, but also a constant, serious risk of falling. Climbers have to negotiate sections on steel cables, iron clamps and ladders as well as unsecured climbing passages.
