This is the route of the HK21 healing climate hiking trail. Start and finish is car park P4 on the Isar promenade in Bad Tölz. From there the route crosses the river to the Kalvarienberg, downstream towards the Isar power station, to Wengleinhöhe, to Aberg towards Prösteln to Fischbach via a short steep climb. The route is partly wooded and shady and partly sunny. It goes over meadows/field paths and gravel roads, sometimes along the edge of the forest. Overall, there are moderate differences in altitude.
