This hike leads to the Blomberg, one of the easiest and most popular peaks in the foothills of the Alps, as well as to the Zwiesel. Although this area is characterised by clear-cutting caused by bark beetles, the view from the summit is very rewarding. This hike is particularly recommended for families. The ascent to the Blomberg is very easy on well-maintained paths and has a lot to offer. For the descent, for example, we recommend taking the popular toboggan run (with a summer toboggan run in summer). You can stop off at the Blomberghaus for a fair price.
