Großer Höhenweg am Brauneck

The "Great high-altitude hike" is significantly longer and leads over more difficult, but therefore also more interesting, paths than the short high-altitude hike. From the mountain station of the Brauneck cable car over the Brauneck summit to the Latschenkopf and on to the Achselköpfe. On the way, you can take in the summits of the Schrödelstein and the Vorderer Kirchstein in passing, passing the Stangeneck in between, making this hike a "must" for summit collectors. For the first part of the route, this tour corresponds exactly to the hike along the small high-level trail. So first up to the Brauneck summit cross and the Brauneckhaus right next to it. The path then leads past the paragliders taking off again, past the Schrödelstein and down the steps. But at the bench with the many signposts, you continue straight ahead, following the "Große Höhenwanderung" sign.
