Panoramic circular route in the Chiemgau Alps near Marquartstein.
The hike leads from the Hochplattenbahn valley station via the Bergmessen Altar, past the Bergwalderlebnis to Hefter Alm and Rachlalm, before returning to the starting point. The tour is characterised by wonderful views, farmed alpine pastures, forests and clear mountain streams.
The ascent towards Großstaffen past the Staffnalm requires a certain level of fitness. Suitable hiking boots are recommended.
