Out-and-back
Beautiful hike between the Isar Valley and Risstal in Bavaria.
The quieter and less well-known neighbour of the Schafreuter, but no less beautiful. A fairly long, marked but not signposted ascent through the forest, wonderful views and a beautiful mountain pasture await.
The hike has a difficulty level of S2 or S3. The path is quite narrow and has exposed sections, so surefootedness is important. Shortly before the summit, the path is quite steep over scree.
The start is at the "Stuhlbach" car park.
Highlights:
- great views
- idyllic and peaceful nature
