Challenging mountain hiking trail near Rottagch-Egern, Bavaria
Idyllic mountain forests, fantastic views of the surrounding mountain peaks, several waterfalls and rustic alpine inns - this hike offers almost everything you could wish for on an alpine hike. Spectacular impressions can be experienced here at any time of year, including in winter. It is possible to stop for refreshments at the Wallberghaus. It is open all year round and offers unrivalled views of the Grossglockner, the Alpine foothills and the Zugspitze with its 270-degree glass façade (see tips).
