Fantastic excursion in the Ammergebirge nature reserve.
The ascent to the via ferrata starts at the Tegelbergbahn valley station and leads up a wide path to the start (warning sign). This via ferrata is generally rated 2 - AB. A certain amount of arm strength, technique and general fitness are required. A very beautiful and scenic route, where the effort of the path is rewarded by a fabulous panorama as far as the Alpsee. An additional safety harness is recommended for children, otherwise normal hiking equipment is sufficient. Unfortunately, the path through the Pöllat Gorge is still not passable. Accessible by bus and train (via Füssen).
