Challenging mountain bike tour in the Bavarian Rhön Nature Park, Bavaria
This MTB tour starts at the railway station in Bad Neustadt an der Saale. From there, take the cycle path in the direction of Scheinfurter Haus/Thüringer Hütte or Lebenhan. Once in Lebenhan, follow the black triangle. Cycle along forest paths past an idyllic clearing and follow the blue arrow towards Wegfurt. Occasionally, the path becomes quite steep and impassable (bushes); further steep climbs later on are easy to cycle on as these are firm gravel paths. Once you arrive in Burgwallbach, take a short detour via Kollertshof and Rindberg (366 metres in altitude) and then cycle back to the starting point on meadow paths.
