From the sports ground in Falkenfels, the route initially leads uphill on a tarmac road towards Steinberg. The trail then runs steeply downhill via Siglbrunn to Roth. The main ascent of the route then begins with 300 metres of elevation gain to the highest point, the "Büscherl". The route continues along forest and meadow paths on the "Goldsteig" towards Kesselboden. Following hiking trail "3" in the direction of Pilgramsberg, a final ascent to Siglbrunn awaits. From there, the route leads downhill back to the finish in Falkenfels.
