This varied circular hike leads from the prehistoric pile dwellings in Unteruhldingen to medieval Meersburg and the pilgrimage church in Baitenhausen. The tour offers sweeping views from Lake Überlingen to the heights of the Linzgau and, in foehn weather, to the Alps. A short diversions leads to the pilgrimage church of Baitenhausen (Maria zum Berge Karmel) on the route of the Upper Swabian Baroque Route. The Prince-Bishop of Constance, Marquard Rudolph von Rodt, is said to have donated the church in gratitude for his rescue from distress at sea. The start and finish is Deisendorf.
