Exciting, idyllic circular route around Blaubeuren, Baden-Württemberg.
This extensive circular route starts at the car park directly opposite the "Jägerstüble" inn. The route leads across fields and through forests, to the ruins of Günzelburg Castle and then along the cliffs near Blaubeuren, which offer great views. Fantastic panoramic views of the Blautal valley and wild, mysterious caves await time and again. Another highlight is of course the Blautopf, the intensely coloured karst spring, which is a popular excursion destination.
There are several places to stop for refreshments along the way.
If travelling by public transport, the train to "Blaubeuren" station can be taken and the hike can be started from here.
