The Rötenbach Gorge gourmet trail is a certified premium hiking trail in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park.
From the Hardt hiking car park, a variety of paths lead along rustic forests, meadows rich in species and flowers and lots of water through the wild and romantic Rötenbach Gorge. There are great views at the Hörnle vantage point. The circular route is quite demanding and partly runs on very narrow paths, which are occasionally blocked by fallen trees. The hike can also be easily reached by bus and train, the Rötenbach train station is just under 1 km from the hiker's car park.
