Popular circular route in the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park, North Rhine-Westphalia. This is a marvellous hike starting directly at the "Westphalian Sea", as the Möhnesee is also known. The route runs via the Möhnesee tower and the Sankt Meinolf hunting lodge, built in 1891 and located directly in the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park, to the Hevesee lake. This hike circles the western part of Lake Möhne and also Lake Heve, a smaller lake separated by the Heve dam. The route mainly runs along the wooded shoreline with views of the water. After passing the Hevesee, the route also leads through the forest to the hunting lodge of St Meinolf.
