This is the seventh stage of the varied WestfalenWanderWeg, which runs for 216 kilometres from Hattingen through the southern Ruhr region, the Paderborn region and the foothills of the Sauerland to Altenbeken in the Teutoburg Forest/Eggegebirge Nature Park.
The seventh stage begins in Möhnesee and ends in Rüthen. Following the course of the Möhne and its scenic valley, you pass the pleasant villages of Niederbergheim, Allagen and Mülheim. There are places to stay overnight and stop for refreshments.
