Best trails near Inde

Interesting hiking trail in Eschweiler, North Rhine-Westphalia. The start is near the bridge on the Inde. It heads in an easterly direction, always along the river, to the stadium. Running along the water has a very calming effect on the circulation and provides good relaxation. Turn round at the stadium and run back to the bridge on the other side of the Inde. Accessible by bus and train. There are refreshment stops in the surrounding area.

The tour starts at the Würselner Recker site, leads via Eschweiler and from there to the Inden open-cast lignite mine. You cycle around it on partly closed roads and dirt tracks. The route takes you via Schopphoven Kirchberg to Bourheim, from where you cycle along a cycle path back to Alsdorf and the last section along the road back to the starting point.
