This route is stage 12 of the Heidschnuckenweg, a long-distance trail through Lower Saxony. This specific section starts in Weesen and ends at Dehningshof. The path traverses the Misselhorner Heide on sandy trails and opens up to the panoramic Tiefental valley before entering dense pine forests and reaching the Angelbecksteich pond.
