Best trails near Gartenhaus am Rosengarten

Stage 1 of the popular Hünenweg long-distance hiking trail The Hünenweg begins at the 500-year-old town hall in Osnabrück, where the end of the Thirty Years' War was proclaimed in 1648. From the heart of the old town centre, the hike initially leads through narrow alleyways to the banks of the River Hase. After leaving the town centre behind and crossing the 200-year-old Hase cemetery, the route finally reaches the next river, the Nette. This remains a companion for the majority of the stage.

Stage 1 of the long-distance hiking trail "Wittekindsweg", Lower Saxony. The Wittekindsweg starts in Osnabrück; it leads out of the city along the banks of the River Nette through the TERRA.vita Nature and Geopark. There are refreshment stops along the way.
