Popular cycle pilgrimage in Osnabrücker Land, Lower Saxony.
The Telgte pilgrimage is the largest foot pilgrimage in the German-speaking world and looks back on a long tradition; the pilgrimage has been taking place every year on the second Sunday after St Peter and St Paul since 1852.
Since 2011, a cycle pilgrimage organised by the ADFC and the Osnabrück Maltesers has been taking place in addition to the pilgrimage on foot. If the route is too long for you, you can join the pilgrims at any of the resting and stopping points along the way.
