After crossing the Dürnbach stream, the well-maintained and easy hiking trail starts uphill. After a while through the shady forest, a panorama opens up between Schliersee and Spitzingsee. The trail continues to the mountain hut, including a cosy refreshment stop depending on opening times. The path is well signposted throughout.
