This route is stage 13 of the Altmühltal-Panoramaweg, a long-distance trail in Bavaria. This section leads from Griesstetten (Dietfurt) to Riedenburg. The path initially follows the Main-Danube Canal before climbing a forested ridge via the Rosskopfsteig, offering expansive valley views.
