A challenging hike that is worth every step. Marvellous views and wonderful idyllic hiking trails. From Rosengasse, the route leads to Rosengassenalm, along the Jägerwand to the saddle between Kleinem and Grossen Traithen. On the way back you walk along the Unterberger Joch, Steintraithen / Steilner Joch and past the dilapidated Fellalm.

Panoramic circular hike in the Upper Bavarian Alps south of Bayrischzell. An entertaining hike, but you still have to climb a few metres in altitude via Rosengassen Alm and Fellalm. There are marvellous panoramic views of the Upper Bavarian Alps, forests and meadows as well as refreshment stops at the Berggasthof Rosengasse.

From the car park at Gasthaus Rosengasse (1100m) head south along the path to the Brünnstein, at the Rosengassen Alm continue in a SSW direction over the Schneise.
