Best trails near Schänzlespitz

The Jubiläumsweg is an 18 km long, well-known high-altitude trail in the Allgäu Alps. The trail is secured with ropes in places and surefootedness is definitely required. The starting point is the "Auf der Höh" car park and the end point is the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus, where you can stay overnight and stop for refreshments. A long and alpine stage with wonderful viewpoints is imminent. From Tannheim you follow the course of the Älpelebach to the Älpele. The path leads to the picturesque Schrecksee via the promising Geißhorn and south around the Rauhhorn. Via the Lahnerscharte and the anniversary path you get to the Bockkarscharte and down to the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus.
