Hindelang - Imberger Horn - Spitzberg

The route is not entirely without effort. It requires a certain level of fitness and surefootedness. However, the ascent from the valley to the Imberger Horn is not necessarily worthwhile, as it leads over the toboggan run and thus over a very gravelled, wide path, which is also used by mountain bikers/downhillers. If you're not interested in the sporting aspect, save yourself the extra 2-hour climb and take the gondola lift instead. The panoramic trail is very crowded at the top, and even on the way to the summit it's a bit of a hike. Nevertheless, the views make the climb worthwhile. It is much quieter on the second summit of the tour, the Strausberg. It's also a little easier to linger here, as you don't run the risk of being pushed off the summit by the people following you. A beautiful descent via the Strausbergsattel to the Mitterhaus, where you can take a final rest before the 1.5-hour return journey through the valley.
