Second part of a visit to Lake Constance. Start and finish was Lindau. Stage 2 from Rorschach in Switzerland to Constance It is a beautiful route that even inexperienced families and families with children can complete in 5 days (each day is a stage). The routes are off-road on well-maintained cycle paths or on small paths that are not used by cars. There are no major tracks. The Lake Constance cycle path is well signposted and runs close to the coast.

Along the tour, the path crosses Lake Constance with ferries twice and also passes the Obere Guli nature reserve. With a short detour it is possible to also see the flower island of Mainau. Wonderful tour along the lakes. The route starts in Constance and then continues through the open countryside, passing the Mittelzell peninsula with its fantastic panorama. The route then continues past Radolfzell before reaching the stage destination of Stein am Rhein. The route is particularly enjoyable by bike, travelling steadily along the shores of Untersee.

This route is stage 8 of the Bodensee-Radweg, connecting Radolfzell with Konstanz in Germany. Departing the historic town of Radolfzell, cyclists ride along the Gnadensee shoreline through Markelfingen and Allensbach, passing fruit orchards and views of Reichenau Island.
