Best trails in Hütten Hills Nature Park
At 21,967 hectares, the Hüttener Berge Nature Park is the smallest nature park in Schleswig-Holstein. The terminal moraines of the Hüttener Berge were created by the Ice Age and offer animals, plants and people a varied landscape in the Eckernförde - Rendsburg - Schleswig triangle. The Weichselian glacial has created large and small lakes, moors and hills and repeatedly scattered large and small stones across the landscape. But people have also shaped their surroundings: the typical Knicks - hedgerows along fields and paths - give the region an unmistakable appearance and provide a unique habitat for many plants and animals. You can go hiking, cycling and horse riding in the nature park.
