Best long trails in Naturschutzgebiet Eggstätt-Hemhofer Seenplatte

Idyllic circular route in the Eggstätt-Hemhofer Seenplatte nature reserve. Start at the car park very close to Hartmannsberg Castle. A bus also runs nearby to the Hartmannsberg bus stop. There are signposted bathing areas at the lakes - otherwise, however, swimming in the lake is prohibited for nature conservation reasons. Leisurely mountain bike tour from Eggstätt at the foot of the Bavarian Alps. From the Eggstätt-Hemhofer Seenplatte, the route goes via Hemhof and Thalkirchen once around Lake Simssee and back again via Bad Endorf.
