This circular route follows the track of the 38th Bischofswerdaer Heimatkundliche Wanderung 2013, organised by the Bischofswerdaer Wanderverein e.V. hiking association. Scenic snowshoe hike in Saxony, Germany. From the car park, the trail leads over the railway tracks and into the forest on Davidsberg. Along Linzberg and Goldberg and past the old quarry, the trail heads south past Steinigtwolmsdorf and the German-Czech border. Continue through the forest to Prinz-Friedrich-August-Höhe. Here you can take a well-earned break and stop off at the mountain inn before setting off on the return journey.
