From Lintorf, take the side roads to Mintard, from there across the fields to Kettwig and further along the Ruhr to Werden. Continue along Lake Baldeney and then along the Ruhr to Essen-Steele. There the route turns onto the Grugaradweg from where you continue along the RS1 towards Mülheim.
