Start and finish: Adenauerallee car park at Berger See. The route then runs along the moated castles of Berge, Herten, Westerholt and Lüttinghof to Dorsten. Continue west along the Wesel-Datteln Canal, then south again via Feldhausen, Gladbeck, Wittringen Castle back to Berger See with a view of the memorial in Buer. Very pleasant route, little road, but lots of nature!
