The hike begins at the Karstein Cave (Kakus Cave). From there, the trail climbs up to the ridge of the Ravensburg, where you are greeted by marvellous views. Finally, you walk through the Veytal valley and pass the Roman Brunnenstuben, a part of the Roman water pipeline built in the 1st century AD. The route is quite hilly and requires a certain level of fitness. Just under 400 metres in altitude have to be overcome.
