There are always information boards explaining how to preserve the increasingly rare orchards. You can stop off at the Claashäuschen and, if you wish, shorten the route.

The route runs through the forest on mostly good and wide paths. Only after heavy rain is the route a little muddy in places. The route can be walked all year round. You will only occasionally come across other people, cyclists and dogs. The route is busier at weekends.
