This route is a certified premium hiking trail that leads through mostly unspoilt nature. Some marvellous views await you, especially from the Billstein. It leads to the Steinbergsee lake and the Steinbruch natural monument, the Niestequelle spring and the Roter See natural monument. There are refreshment stops along the way.

This route is a certified premium hiking trail that runs through all parts of the limestone grassland nature reserve near Roßbach. Juniper heaths and calcareous grasslands, which are grazed by sheep in a completely natural way, characterise the landscape. If you keep your eyes open, you can find a whole range of rare plants such as endangered orchid species along the route. At the end of the hike, a water treading pool awaits you at the car park to relax.
