Circular hiking trail east of Berlin This circular hiking trail leads to the northern side of the Grünheide chain of lakes in the Rüdersdorfer Heide in Brandenburg to the east of Berlin. The forest is located to the east of Erkner, so you can travel to and from Erkner railway station by bus. The area near the Flakensee lake with the Kranichsberg observation tower is particularly interesting. A large part of the route runs along forest paths.
