From Rüdersdorf, the trail heads south along the banks of the Kalksee lake. If you wish, you can climb the observation tower on the Kranichsberg and enjoy the view. The trail continues eastwards through the Rüdersdorfer Heide to Möllensee and then curves back to the lock at Mühlenteich and Rüdersdorf.
