Best trail running trails in Hirschbach

This official hiking trail of the municipality of Hirschau leads along atmospheric forest paths to the Ossinger and back. The route's symbol is a white 11 on a red background. There are refreshment stops along the route. Highlights: - Ossinger - Country inn zum Elsabauern - Pillhofer brewery inn

Path for everyone The easy path leads through the lovely Reichental valley, past the Schlangenfichte spruce, to Großmeinfeld. Now over the high Kohlberg to Loch. Shortly left on the tarmac road, then right along field and meadow paths to the tower (private property - but with a wonderful view of Hirschbach next to the tower). Return to Hirschbach via a stony path by the church. Marking: white 1 on a green background

With no. 1 past the tower - continue with yellow line. Short stretch without markings. Then with green cross via Grünreuth to Hartenstein. Marvellous (rewarding!) view from Hirtenberg. With red dot to Großmeinfeld. Through the Reichental (No. 1) comfortably to Hirschbach. Changing markings. Refreshments available: -Grünreuth (closed on Mondays), -Hartenstein, -Hirschbach (closed on Mon.+Tues.)

With yellow cross on the Vorra mountain. Marvellous view of the rocks. Now (right) on the Korbmachersteig with red dot to Großmeinfeld. Through the lovely Reichental valley with no. 1 back to Hirschbach in comfort Marking: yellow cross to Vorraer Berg. Refreshment stop: Hirschbach (closed on Mon.+Tues.);

Through the Schöpfental valley via Gerhardsberg to Kirchenreinbach. Via München on a beautiful mountain ridge back to Hirschbach - changing markings. Shortly before Hirschbach either downhill with a green dot and back on the road. Better to follow the GPS data. Here without markings along the edge of the meadow (path). Keep left in a short section of forest and now follow the path along the left edge of a wild meadow. At its end, cross a small ridge and follow the green ring downhill to...

Through the Reichental valley via Großmeinfeld to Artelshofen. Shortly before the Falkenberghütte on a ridge without markings to the Artelshofer Platte with a bench to rest. Marvellous view of the Pegnitz valley and Hohenstein Castle. With no. 3, later green line to the Korbmachersteig (red dot). On the Vorraer Berg with yellow cross down to Hirschbach. Changing markings. Refreshment stops: Großmeinfeld (currently closed!), Artelshofen, Hirschbach.
