Haßfurt to Hofheim (18 km) on the former railway line "Hofheimerle". From Goßmannsdorf there is an energetic ascent for approx. 4 km, also on the Rennsteig. The Rennsteig cycle path follows the ridge until it is all downhill via Köslau to Ebelsbach. From there it is flat in the Main valley via Zeil back to Haßfurt.
