Best backpacking trails in Bayrischzell

Panoramic hike east of the Spitzingsee in the Bavarian Pre-Alps. The rather challenging route leads via the Geitauer Alm (open seasonally) to the summit of the Aiplspitz and back the same way. There are safety ropes around the summit and hikers should have a head for heights, especially on the summit ridge.
