This circular hike at Bleiloch takes you around the southern tip of the Bleich reservoir and even reaches the height of the Rennsteig. The hiker stays along the Saale until Lemnitzhammer, then continues through the romantic Sieglitz valley up to the Rennsteig. Via Seibis, you reach the Marienberg viewpoint and then descend into the valley of the Thuringian Muschwitz. There you follow the Kolonnenweg down the valley. After crossing the connecting road from Lichtenbrunn to Lichtenberg, the Kolonnenweg becomes a high-level trail and crosses two small side valleys before reaching Blankenstein. The route continues to Mühlberg via Dreiländerblick, Arlas and Haus am Wald. The romantic path through Mühlberg Switzerland leads back to Saaldorf via the Agnesruh viewpoint.
