Cycling Marathon: Stör Canal Brevet

Official route of the cycling marathon organised by RSG Mittelpunkt Nortorf e.V. This route follows a cycle marathon or brevet route, an extreme endurance event designed for racing bikes. This is a massive endurance test. The route is almost entirely tarmac and goes on a long journey through Schleswig-Holstein, probably along the Stör and the Kiel Canal. This region is famous for its flat land. The main difficulty comes not from the metres in altitude, but from the enormous distance and the relentless, strong wind.
