Popular circular hiking trail in the Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park, Saxony
This beautiful circular route around the Lichtenberg dam will enchant you with its easy-to-walk paths, good signage and, of course, fantastic views. The route leads once around the picturesque dam, the Lichtenberg pre-dam and then over the Burgberg back to the starting point. After the hike, we recommend a detour to the legendary tavern "Zum Singenden Erzgebirgswirt" (refreshments available) not far from the car park.
Highlights of the hike:
- Lichtenberg dam
- Former hill castle Lichtenberg on the Burgberg
- View of the Ore Mountains from the Burgberg
- Stop at the "Zum Singing Erzgebirge Inn"
