A beautiful circular hiking tour awaits you here, starting from Altenberg - Erzgebirge and including a few 8000 dm mountains. In Altenberg there is a free car park opposite the town hall in Bachstraße. The hiking tour leads over the Pödelknochen with 8350 dm, on to the Wüste Höhe with 8240 dm, a bit over the Kammweg to the Wüste Teich. Below the Kahleberg over the Steinfeld up to the Kahleberg, which exceeds 9000 dm. From this highest mountain in the area, you have a fantastic view far into the countryside. And from the Kahleberg, a path leads back down to Altenberg. A beautiful hiking tour for which hiking poles and hiking boots and good footwear are recommended.
