This beautiful route leads into the Erzgebirge / Vogtland nature park. The start is in Olbernhau on Gessingplatz. The route is a good mix of roads that lead through small towns, forests, fields, parks and roads again. This takes you to Oberlochmühle, which is close to the Czech border. This is also a guesthouse and is only 4 kilometres away from the well-known toy village of Seiffen - also famous for its Christmas carvings and pyramid production in traditional handcraft. The route continues via Neuhausen in the Ore Mountains to the Schwemmteiche and Schwemmwiesen nature reserve and later arrives in Sayda. The cycle tour continues via the Tännicht ski area before returning to the starting point near Blumenau and along the Flöha river. There are several places to stop for refreshments along the way.
