This section starts in Cranzahl and then heads south-west along the German-Czech border. The route passes through the municipality of Oberwiesenthal, which offers a great stopover. At an altitude of 914 metres, it is the highest town in Germany and is also known as an exciting winter sports destination. After passing through the municipality of Johanngeorgenstadt, the route ends in the music town of Klingenthal, which is home to the oldest harmonica factory in the world still in production.
