The start and finish of the hike is the Heideschänke in Chemnitz, organised by the Chemnitzer Wandersportverein e.V. The trail first leads through the Zeisigwald forest and via Niederwiesa to Mühlbach and Hausdorf. Through the Oederan forest via Flöha and through the Struth back to the starting point.
