The start is in the beautiful Wadrilltal nature reserve near Wedern. The trail first leads northwards to the Preussenkopf mountain. It passes Buweiler and Oberlöstern, mainly through valleys and across meadows. The route continues westwards to Gehweiler and resembles a walk through an extensive landscape of forests, fields and meadows, leading into the valley of the Wadrill river. The tour continues southwards to the famous burial mounds. These are two burial sites from Roman times that are still quite well preserved. At the end of the hike, you will find refreshment stops.
