This route leads into the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and beautifully combines two great adventure trails. It goes around the Nonnweiler reservoir, which is one of the region's main attractions. Beautifully situated, marvellously blue, it is surrounded on all sides by beautiful mixed forest. As it is a drinking water reservoir, it is unfortunately unsuitable for swimming. The circular hiking trail is a paradise for cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. The Planet Trail begins near the Nonnweiler dam.
