A wonderful hike that leads through the hills here in Bliesgau, through beech forests and to the idyllic Rohrentalweiher pond. A picnic can be enjoyed here by the pond. The route has some challenging climbs from time to time, but rewards with great views.
The start is near the community centre, at the bus stop "Herbitzheim Bürgerhaus". There is also a car park here, so both, arriving by car or public transport, is possible.
