Bietzerberg and Sonnentalweg from Reimsbach

You start in the centre of Reimsbach, where there is both a car park and a bus stop. Follow the cycle path via Erbringen, Honzrather Weiheranlage to "Am Milessen". At the end of the road, turn right up the Milessen to the Panorama Höhenweg. At the tarred road, turn left towards the Wolferskopf nature reserve, the tarred road leads into a gravel path which is followed to the end and then up to the right towards the former US Mundepot. Once you have climbed the mountain, the "Bietzerberger" crosses it, which you can follow from here via a beautiful single trail. Hangelberg - Sattelwald - Fischerberghaus (which invites you to stop for a bite to eat) - Katzenberg - Menningen - towards Bietzen - left through the Mühlental - cross the Ohligbach - past the "Runde Türmchen" - Forellenhof. Pass the former Girtenmühle mill and follow the Ohligbach stream - triangular woodland - Saarlouiser Berg - through an apple orchard - Harlinger Wald forest - several wooden footbridges - turn right at the tarred road - cross the L346 - Großwald forest - after a descent you are back on the Panoramahöhenweg trail which you follow to the Hargarter Kalkofen kiln - down to Hargarten - turn right towards Reimsbach approx. 200m over the L156 and you are back on the cycle path, which you follow to the village square in Reimsbach. The route is varied, over beautiful single trails and the beautiful view is not neglected either. Tip: don't cycle the route at the weekend because of the hikers or take special care because it is very narrow in places.
