Panoramic circular trail in the Palatinate Forest, Rhineland-Palatinate.
The circular trail starts in Darstein and leads up and down through shady forest around Bärenbrunnerhof. It passes the summits of Schindberg, Eichelberg, Sorgenberg and Wolfshorn. Before returning, the circular route leads to the cosy Wasgauhütte (also known as Schwanheimer Hütte), a managed mountain hut. The hut was opened in 1969 and offers delicious Palatinate specialities and fine wines in a cosy atmosphere (note opening times).
